Born on March 17, 1987, in Chicago, Illinois, Jayson Pocius is a passionate real estate professional who is currently making remarkable progress in land acquisition and eco-friendly development across Las Vegas, Nevada. Backed by a solid academic foundation, Jayson Pocius holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Roosevelt University and later earned his MBA in Finance from Loyola University Chicago. His career has been shaped by his deep-rooted enthusiasm for real estate and his desire to make a lasting positive impact on communities.
Jayson began his professional journey as a financial advisor but soon discovered that his true passion lay in real estate. This realization led him to manage multiple LLCs overseeing rental properties, with a focus on neighborhoods on Chicago’s south side.
In late 2023, Jayson relocated to Las Vegas to join KB Home, where he now spearheads land acquisition projects, specifically targeting overlooked and underutilized areas on the city’s east side. His mission is to breathe new life into abandoned commercial sites, transforming them into vibrant residential neighborhoods. With a focus on sustainable development, Jayson aims to provide eco-conscious housing options that are both affordable for first-time buyers and appealing to families seeking upgraded homes.
What sets Jayson apart is his holistic approach to real estate development. He firmly believes that creating homes is only one piece of the puzzle — the real goal is to foster thriving communities where residents can truly prosper. His initiatives in east Las Vegas reflect this vision, as formerly neglected lots and deteriorating buildings are being reimagined into welcoming neighborhoods complete with upgraded infrastructure and commercial potential, sparking larger community revitalization.
Outside of his real estate work, Jayson remains deeply connected to his lifelong love for sports, rooted in childhood memories of cheering on the Chicago Bulls. He also contributed to the world of college basketball, serving as Special Assistant to the Head Coach for Roosevelt University’s Men’s Basketball team.
Jayson credits much of his professional growth to the mentorship of Hasani Steele from the Steele Consulting Group in Chicago, whose guidance has been invaluable in shaping his expertise in real estate development. Dedicated to paying it forward, Jayson actively mentors aspiring professionals, firmly believing in the philosophy that true success is even more meaningful when shared.
